The nearest specialised Children’s Hospital is the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Where is the hospital?
The Hospital is located at Westmead, about 28km from the CBD. It stands next to the Westmead Hospital but is not part of it. It is a stand-alone service dedicated to paediatrics.
Is it easy to get to the hospital?
Yes. Trains from all over Sydney stop at Parramatta, and many go directly to the Westmead station. Buss services operate all over Sydney to Parramatta, with a special shuttle service from Sydney Airport to the hospital. A local minibus runs from Westmead to Parramatta City Centre, Parramatta Rivercat Ferry and Parramatta Train Station every 12 minutes on weekdays.
